Celty Lee is your average college student living in Tokyo, Japan. Between juggling work and classes, she spends most of her time having late night study session at the library.

However, one particular night while walking home, Celty witnesses something not meant to be seen. The sole witness to a murder, Celty is kidnapped and given a choice: join them or die.

Her decision comes easy, but learning the ins and outs of the biggest mafia in Tokyo was more than she bargained for. She spends her mafia days mainly helping around the bar, making drinks and tending to small tasks.

When her presence draws the attention of the mastermind himself, Celty is basically forced into becoming his slave. Things begin to heat up between the two, and she is soon faced with another choice: try to escape to her former life or become the king pin's new toy.
