MOONLIGHT

Emptiness. That was the only feeling left in me. Though I have a family that loves me, the absence of a mate in my life makes it very empty. Even though I never wanted a mate for myself, but I feel sad about my wolf Avery all the time.
I was interrupted by a bewitching scent. Avery was pacing forward and backward. The scent makes me uneasy, but still makes me feel delighted. As I move along the moonlight at the banks of the river I started to sniff the scent which is fruits and mint. Just the scent makes my wolf yearning for it.
As I walk more further I see a dark figure moving.

"Mate".

Avery and the other wolf say at once.

I never thought that the Moon Goddess would bless me a mate, let alone a second chance mate
because second chance mates are very rare to find in werewolves.
