Humans have destroyed Earth. What had once been a beautiful home for all living things to thrive has started to become a planet with lesser and lesser life-form seen outside. Global warming has created a new problem: The Fog.

The thickening grey haze serves a sole purpose- to destroy life. If anyone is exposed to the grey haze for 24 hours, their life will come to an end in the next two weeks.

Those near the fast approaching Fog are terrified. And humans, these selfish and greedy creatures, are all fighting for land. Killing each other.

Axel Ashwood has never left gone very far out of his home. He's spent most of his life caring for his ailing mother, who once got exposed to the haze, which resulted in permanent illness. Most of what he knows about life comes from books.

Aveloyn-- Axel's hometown-- is lively in the day, when the Fog is usually not a threat. But when night falls and the Fog roams, Aveloyn might as well be deserted. Axel is also worried but when his little sister faces the possibility of never seeing the outside world before her death, he makes a difficult choice.

Time is running out, and they both know...
