New story updates every weekend

Salem Copeland is a 16 year old boy going to high school, like any other kid. He laughs like any other kid. He talks like any other kid. He has friends like any other kid.
And like any other kid...he's fake. The smile he wears, if studied closely, is crusted in the dried tears of his past and the anxiety for the future.
Salem Copeland is depressed. He hates himself. He believes everyone around him hates him. He cuts. He wants to die.
No one sees. No one knows. How do you reach out for help if no one believes you need it?
You may not like what you hear but in truth...this happens.
This isn't Salem's story.
This is his life.
