Mira Singh always knew her old best friend, Fynn Ryan, was crazy, but she never would have expected for her to go completely off the rails, bring a gun to school, and threaten to kill the only girl she'd ever love.

Mira Singh never let anything bother her. In fact, she burned down the old family house and felt absolutely no remorse. After her family moved to the other side of town, she even ditched her old best friend Fynn Ryan for a new girl: Jackie Meyers, a beautiful, brown-skinned girl that made her the best blueberry waffles for breakfast.

Mira thought all was going well. She was on the road to forgetting about Fynn and giving her entire heart to Jackie, but Fynn had other plans. In a desperate attempt to "save" Mira from Jackie, things go south, resulting with Fynn uttering the words, "Mission: Failed," and killing herself. Right in front of her class.
