****

When Priscilla Anderson stains her hand with the blood of her best friend's love, a witch threatens to spill the secret. One condition is placed to keep it hushed, and it is to accept the witch, Katherine Anderson, as her reincarnation, which she does. And when Priscilla finally thinks everything is steady, her widow mother's secrets that cost lives are unveiled.

Unknown to her, prince Hudson's watchful gaze is looming over her every step, and it isn't pleasuring to know he's aware of her secret and he just desires one thing.

Her death.

But she isn't a damsel in distress and with a witch keen to avenge and has schemes of her own. Priscilla has powers that seem to lie in her palms, so she might cause Hudson's doom first and she just desires one thing.

(Or at least a handsome sword-fighting minion to do their bidding!) *** Bad things happen when Rowen is around and the worst part is, she has no idea why until a massive family secret sends her on a fantastical journey to fight her evil fate. Will Rowen fold into the forces of dark magic or honor her true self? *** On the surface, Rowen Keckilpenny-Brown seems like a normal teenage girl with normal teen problems-no boyfriend, overprotective parents, and no friends other than a three-legged cat. But her wild red hair, reptilian eyes, and legendary temper say otherwise. When Rowen accidentally blows up the school gym, she discovers a dark secret her fathers have kept from her-she's the heir to an evil queen's throne. The current evil queen, Petronella Grimshaw, is desperate to crown Rowan the new sovereign and blackmails her into traveling to the queendom. Rowen has one month to learn how to evil queen, and it's not easy because there are those in the castle who want her dead, witches are disappearing, and an annoyingly cute swordsman keeps distracting her. Worst of all, Rowan finds herself in a duel against her biggest enemy: herself. She must fight her true fate, in the process uncovering deep familial mysteries and perhaps the biggest secret ever...That maybe, just maybe, she deserves to be loved after all. Aurora opens her eyes only to feel the agonising pain in her body. That is to be expected when there has been an accident. It's excruciatingly painful. Aurora groans in pain and pulls off the blanket, taking in her surroundings. It is more appropriate for a hospital interior design to look to the mediaeval era. Not shabby, but more on the extravagant side. The nurses' attire, on the other hand, appears odd. Someone said out of nowhere, "Her Grace, please wake up! Call the doctor right away!" Aurora approaches the mirror and looks at the woman with deep red eyes in it. The woman had blonde hair that, while a little messy, flowed perfectly over her shoulder. Her fair complexion lends her an ethereal appearance. Not to mention that her outfits make her look like a noblewoman from a historical series. She pinches herself, only to realise that the blonde woman staring at her is herself. A thought struck her mind, as she utters her first statement in this world, "Fuck me". Medea has finished her work, but she is still unsure how to fix all of the messes. She hasn't been herself in a long time, and it's bothering her. The throne seems so far away, and the weight of the burden grows heavier with each passing day. A letter from the Imperial Palace has arrived, instructing the Duchess to look after the House of Smith's Duchess of Light, Natalie Wilson Smith. As an evil scheme was about to unfold, she smiled wickedly. 'This is my new card.' p/s: I can't find the original owner of the photo of the cover, if you know or you are the owner of the cover. When a tragic accident claims the lives of her parents, young Princess Cécilia ascends to a throne overshadowed by turmoil. Under the watchful eye of her uncle, who serves as regent, her kingdom begins to fracture. Whispers of betrayal, oppression, and unrest grow louder, but the true orchestrator of the chaos remains hidden in the shadows. After narrowly surviving an assassination attempt, Cécilia is forced into hiding, accompanied by the mysterious and battle-hardened mercenary Kassian Arthur. Together, they traverse the far reaches of the Northern Isles, encountering her people's anguish and learning of an oppressive regime bent on crushing dissent. As her kingdom teeters on the edge of war with the Renuso Empire, Cécilia must find allies in unexpected places and rally those who still believe in her. But the enemy is cunning, their identity cloaked in secrecy. Every step Cécilia takes reveals more layers of a conspiracy that has haunted her family for years. As war erupts, she must summon the strength to lead, even while grappling with her own doubts, loss, and growing feelings for Kassian. With bloodshed threatening to destroy everything she holds dear, Cécilia risks everything to confront the truth. The journey to reclaim her throne will test her in ways she never imagined-but in the end, the most dangerous enemy may be the one she never saw coming.
