"Mom, please! You have to let me go!" Sarah shouts to her mother.
"No, Sarah! I told you not to apply for that school, and now that you did, you'll be even more upset you can't go!" Her mother, Erica, shouts back.
"I'm going and you can't stop me!" Sarah dismisses herself, slamming her door closed.
She angrily opens her suit cases and packs all her belongings.
"I'm going whether she likes it, or not." Sarah spits out.

Sarah Blaine suffered a lot in her life. Her father died when she was only 3 years old, her mother became an alcoholic 2 years after Sarah's father had died, and both, Sarah and her mother, had lost their home to the bank, 1 year later.

10 years later, Sarah now 16 years old, has a caring and nurturing mother who doesn't make a lot of money, but makes enough to feed two of them, and keep a roof over their heads.Erica (Sarah's mom) got kicked out of her parent's house when she was 16, because she got pregnant. They lost all contact until Sarah found them, and told them about Oahu Prep., and how she wanted to study there for high school, but Sarah couldn't afford it. Her grandparents agreed that if she maintained good grades, they would pay for her education. Erica refuses, but Sarah goes any way.
Join Sarah on her adventure on one of the tropic islands in Hawaii. She'll meet her best friends, her enemies, and the one she might love.
Note: I actually really hate writing in third person so Oahu Prep. will be told in most of the character's POVs... and I marked it M (mature) because of language
