The Black family was a family of power, prestige, pureness. Though as years went on, they seemed to keep such a picture perfect picture, despite how torn they were. The current generation of Blacks was lucky to have to possibly heirs within the six children across two branches.
Bellatrix was the oldest. Her parents, Druella and Cygnus were civil, but not in love. They married because it was expected, and they had three girls. She found her way into the family easily, making sacrifices for what she was told she had to be, much like her parents.
Andromenda was Bellatrix's sister, the middle child of Druella and Cygnus. She wanted to be what was expected, but she never lived up to expectations.
Narcissa was the youngest, the prized possession. She followed things blindly, but a perfect mix between her two sisters, yet something felt off about her.
Than you had Walburga and Orion Black's children. They were not as ideal, yet fit the picture perfect family.
Sirius was the oldest, making him the heir of the Black family, set to inherit it all. But he was careless, not wanting the glory that came from his pureblood status.
Following Sirius was Regulus. He tried his best to please his parents, but didn't give up on any of his cousins. He was people pleaser through and through, but he was fighting the internal battle to be his own person.
Finally, there was Evelyn Ursa, better known as Eve. Youngest of all, and twin to Regulus, Eve was the favorite of many. She was sweet and charming, but it was once a face. She was a mix of her oldest brother and oldest cousin, which seemed odd. Yet she made it her own.
These kids morphed the Black family to reality, showing everything is not what it seems. They are just a broken picture after all.
