Before the 74th Hunger Games, before Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark touched the world with their love story, there were many years of pain and bloodshed in the country of Panem. Child after child was sacrificed because of the Capitol's thirst for vengeance after the rebellion.

This is the story of one of the most legendary victors. Lena Archer, a career from District 4 that delighted the world with her determination. This is the story of the pain, the suffering, and the growth that she went through during and after her Hunger Games.

This is the story of how she became one of Panem's most beloved tributes.

And a key player in the rebellion.

Plot: In the aftermath of WCKD and losing newt, Maddie says goodbye to the Gladers for now and heads back to Panem with Peeta. What will President Snow do now to try and kill Maddie? Will the Hunger Games start up again? What will Maddie do to end Snow's reign? After all, Maddie has noticed some strange things. Districts are revolting. Symbols of the mockingjay have started to appear. Has Maddie sparked some kind of revolution? Credits: Credits to Hunger Games movie directors and of course the fabulous Suzanne Collins. All characters belong to her and I share Maddie with her.
