Y/N's past isn't all sunshine and rainbows as her mother would have everyone think, with repressed memories, aggressive episodes, substance abuse, and lines marking her skin. She has to find a way to not only help herself, but save those she shouldn't find dear to her.

With one of her aggressive episodes causing her to end up in the principal's office beside a blue boy she doesn't recognize, she slowly finds herself being integrated into their group unwillingly, and with a growing crush on the "metal head" of the group. With her episodes becoming increasingly more sporadic and aggressive, she finds herself having to choose between those who raised and kept her safe and those who can finally give her answers.

Sal finds himself in a strange predicament when he's walking hand in hand with a stiff walking girl down the hall. She's frozen in the middle of the hall after attacking another student, and he was told to take her to the principal. She walks eerily down the hall like a ghost, her grip nonexistent in his. She looked almost like how his friends describe him after an episode.

After that day, he slowly started to try and incorporate her into the group. Maybe, with just a little bit of determination and an insane amount of luck, he could find out more about her and why she was so reluctant to be anywhere near them.
