Have you ever lied to yourself to the point you are a slave to your own being? Well, here you go, you just came across a person who tries to fight his own being. This poem is about a person who lies to himself and now he tries to fight him self out of his own slavery. this person lied to himself when he saw his reflection, now...he stuck in the bondage of his lies.
They are many things we tell ourselves, but those things should never get us to point we lose our being, especially if they are negative.

Introspection: Poems by a Ruminator
When hardship is experienced, it is only human of us to think on the past. Sometimes though, we end up in a cycle of rumination, reliving events that cannot be changed; we become depressed in our memories. Writing can be therapeutic, so here is a collection of poetry exploring a range of sad and confronting memories. ⚠WARNING: VERY CRINGE AND MESSY, MAJOR PLOTHOLES, I STARTED IT LIKE TWO YEARS AGO. ⚠ . Rose Woods has been with her foster father Jordan Lukes ever since she was 9. Ever since her brothers abandoned her because of someone else, she had built a wall against others, barring her from showing her emotions. Staying in the foster care system for 2 years after her mother's death, she learned how to mask her emotions and be ruthless. That mask crumbled when Jordan adopted her and started starving and abusing her. But she still faced the walls outside of that house with a cold facade. But when he dies due to drunk driving and she has to go back to her brothers who abandoned her, what will she do? Will she make her walls more stronger for them? Or will she let them break in? What will she do when her past begins to catch up with her? How will her brothers react when they find out she's in the Mafia? So many questions. And various answers. My Past or Present!
A Past and Present definitely involve the people in it, but they both have more than that to offer. The situations, the choices made for you and the choices made by you in the past were and the choices would be made for you and by you in the present are as important as the people. Is it possible to fight everything in the past and engulf the present? Or will the external factors will delay the desired result of such fight even after going through the fight? The story of another confused person who is self misjudged and misjudged by others in a whole level or maybe only partly.
