WELCOME TO CAMP ROOSEVELT! The old run down sign painted by the unsteady hands of campers from a time the world forgot says it all. It is a welcoming sight to parents and campers a like. Welcome to Camp Roosevelt. Don't have a magickal bone in your body, or come from a non-Gifted family? WELCOME - TO - CAMP - ROOSEVELT! A wonderful place that welcomes all children of all walks of life. Enjoy everything from shapeshifting to macarooni artwork and anything else you could think of in between.
For the Stone family, Camp Roosevelt was their home away from home for the month of July. Alaric and Athena had gone to the camp since they were "younguns" and had become counselors in their college days. Now that Luna and Jack were going they just never gave it up. Not because it was EXPECTED of them as members of The House Order (name subject to change), but because they actually wanted to be there. To watch over their children, as well as all the others that had stolen their hearts over the years. A place for children, both Gifted and non, to come together in safety and peace. So why should this summer be any different?
But we all know it's always the calm before the storm.
The Stones face a rocky summer at camp with the return of an old "friend" that could jeopardize everything Camp Roosevelt stands for. Everything The House Order stands for. And the event may juuust make even Athena say "a bad word" in front of the littles ones on accident.
