Childe is inflicted with the Hanahaki Disease, a rare disease which is highly dangerous. (Hanahaki Disease is a fictional disease where the victim of unrequited or one-sided love begins to vomit or cough up blood and the petals and flowers of a flowering plant growing in their lungs). Childe suffers continually from this disease, seemingly with no cure or any leads on how to cure it. On the outside, he hides his true emotions and does not express or show the fact he is suffering...
