Wilbur, Tommy, Tubbo, Phil and Ranboo take a trip to a forest in the middle of no where for a camping trip. They have fun and enjoy themselves until one night Tommy wakes up to a strange sound outside their large tent. When he goes to check it out he finds something rather strange, a small pathway made of rose petals. As he follows it, lantern in hand, he finds something or more so some people deep in the woods that make him regret agreeing to even go on the camping trip.
Sense then he starts seeing things that aren't real, at least he thought they weren't, and eventually everyone else starts to see it, too. Is this a demon? A ghost? Whatever it is is definitely intrigued with the group and wants nothing more than to end everything they have.
There is no escape. No where to run. And certainly no where to hide. Death is at every turn and sacrifices must be made, there is no choice here.

(Based off the SBI AU of amazing artist @thechannelwithoutaname on tumblr {and YouTube!}, all credit to them for the ghost AU!) Tommy and his best friend Tubbo are stoked to learn that there's a place they can 'hide away' all summer. An old house from some part of Tommy's family that one of his aunts agreed to let them stay in. Problem is, there's a sort of 'local legend' going around, that say the house is haunted by the ghosts of the old residents, that died of somewhat questionable circumstances. A house fire, that no one seems to know how it was caused. Tommy and Tubbo aren't at all worried though. Young, 15 year old, orphan Tommy is told to never go beyond the walls that protects their kingdom, for there are wicked beasts that lurk beyond its safety. Tommy is skeptical about these "beasts" that the kingdom is oh-so frightened about, so he sets out during the night, full of curiosity, to see if they're real, or just a myth. But you know what they say. "Curiosity killed the cat." Or in this case, "Curiosity killed the kid." But does he die? Maybe not. Are some of those "wicked beasts" actually nice if they're even real? I was too late
Tommy did it, he jumped into the warm welcoming lava. Ranboo is a nineteen year old merman. There's not much to his life, other than the fact that he's a merman. You may think it would be fun to be a merman or mermaid or merperson or whatever, but it's actually pretty boring. There's nothing to do besides swimming, swimming, and swimming some more. Ranboo's father is the king/god of the ocean. Now, that's pretty cool, right? Wrong! His father doesn't let him do anything. He has to stay at the castle all day and night doing jack shit. One day, when Ranboo sneaks out to go to the peer, he spots a boy, maybe just a year or two younger than him, in an unsafe ordeal. Ranboo's quick thinking saves the boy, and then Ranboo's life starts to change.
