"Look here rat!" He threatened and stomped over to me. I stepped back and hit the wall. "If you think you'll try and get on my 'good side', think again!" He yelled with his face right in front of mine and slammed his fist against the wall.

"Can't you just say thank you and leave it at that!" I yelled and shoved him away. Infuriated, he knocked down my dresser with a thump. I stared in shock as he stood there enraged.

"Don't try me rat!" He warned.

A younger sister, who's only male figure in her life was me. A family that went from nothing. I wasted my time away, being a good boy for my family, for my mother, for my sister. I have decided to act on those violent sides of myself, to relieve myself of the constant pressure and constant voices, pushing me to do the things. I was in no position to stop. Until I met Elijah Grey. A good boy, who's eyes pass over me, ignore me, push me out of his mind and yet I find myself wanting to be the only thing on his mind. I was obsessed with wanting to ruin him, wanting to see what would happen if I undid one perfect button from his shirt, and to ruffle his hair. What would happen if a good boy, turned bad. Let's find out. Elijah I'm a model son, a good boy, but the demons inside of me say otherwise. I am in a constant battle of wanting to be a good son, and also feeling like a stranger in my own body. And I'm not sure I want to know what the reason is.

She witnessed horror... and became one. After surviving a harrowing near-rape and watching her best friend brutally assaulted and murdered before her eyes, Aurora vanished-emotionally. And as far as she's concerned, no man alive could ever break through her fortress of ice. Love? Dead. Her rules? Simple. No emotions. No attachments. No second chances. But her new college? A battlefield. And him? Leonard Grande - the kind of trouble she didn't prepare for. Wounded. Rebellious. Addictive. Dangerous. A walking paradox with a face carved by gods and a soul damaged by demons. A notorious playboy who takes pleasure in breaking girls, shredding hearts like paper-because he believes every girl is a liar in disguise. Until Aurora. She doesn't look at him like he matters. She doesn't fall. She doesn't even flinch. And that pisses him off. Now it's war. A toxic game of destruction and seduction. She wants to erase him. He wants to ruin her. But when secrets from the past start surfacing, both realize they've been walking in the dark... and maybe-just maybe-they were destined to collide. How deep do their scars go? Maya has spent five dreadful months in the psychiatric hospital recovering. Once she finally is released she is forced back into her boring life. But will things really be so boring still when she meets 'bad-boy' Noah Dalton? He is annoying, rude and always around Maya for reasons she can't understand. Maya is brave, yet also afraid that her choices could lead her spiralling back into a bad place again. Will Noah be able to save her from herself? Or will he be the cause of her destruction? ---------------------------- ~Noah's pov~ 'These,' I slowly run my finger across one of her scars, 'are fucking beautiful.' Before she can object, I carry on. 'Maya you are beautiful beyond perfection. You are strong. You are brave. You are funny. You are sweet. You are incredible. Look at yourself,' I nod down towards the scars on her arm and she slowly glances down at them before meeting my gaze again, 'those scars are beautiful. Do you know why?' I ask her. She wipes a tear from her already tear-stricken face before she shakes her head. 'Because every time you decided to do that to yourself, you didn't go further, you didn't end your life. You decided to carry on living even when you thought you couldn't manage it. Those scars right there,' I gesture to them again, 'show the battles you won against yourself. They are your battle-scars and you shouldn't be ashamed of them. And you know what? I am so proud of you for making it to where you are today because you are a fighter and If I can see that, anyone can.'
