The world is inhospitable to humans of any kind, the Demon armies of Grisha taking every measure possible to ensure the slaughter of both Dragons and mankind alike, until all but a few measly human villages remained. This is the legacy the great heroes Valindra Ravenheart and Dagon left behind, a legacy that Yvanna is destined to inherit. Branded with the maw of a dragon on her right arm, Yvanna traverses the world that will stop at nothing to watch her bleed.
