18+ READERS ONLY! Virulence contains sexual, graphic, and gruesome scenes! I will try to put warnings before chapters I feel may be triggering for some, but this is your blanket warning! Please read at your own discretion. This combines the HP magical world with my own imagination. It doesn't follow the books or movies and my depiction of the characters may slightly differ from their original portrayal. The story is currently still in progress, so no blurb - I'm more of a pantster - meaning I do not outline and tend to write on the fly which makes writing a blurb prior to publishing everything a bit difficult. But with that being said, here's a little preview: "D, no." I protest, covering my foot with my hands. "Don't even think about it." The slender tip of his wand points toward my foot, but with me blocking his target, he can't say the charm yet. His head stays tilted down, but he glares at me through bits of blonde. "Move your hands." "No." I grip my foot tighter, gritting my teeth to fight back the yelp vibrating my vocal cords. "You're not getting expelled over this. My mom can heal it when I get home." He rolls his eyes. "Stop being so dramatic and let me heal you." "No." "Yes." He draws out the S with a hard hiss. "Move your hands or I'll make you move them." My eyes narrow. "Is that a threat?" "Did it sound like a bloody compliment?" He retorts, lifting a brow in challenge. Oh, no he didn't. I flick my wrist, feeling the smooth, firm length of my wand click into my palm like an old friend and I nearly sigh. I ease forward, my gaze unwavering and voice stern and low. "I'd love to see you try, Malfoy." The words sound much smoother, much more provocative than I intend and those icy eyes flash as his head slowly lifts to mine. He grins, nothing short of menacing, and all I can think is "oh shit."
The Dragon in The Ice Fortress- Draco Malfoy by americanbeaute
49 parts Ongoing Mature
Book One in the TDITIF series "The Dragon in the Ice Fortress" is a gripping tale of love, loyalty, and survival in the darkest days of the wizarding world. The story unravels the complex layers of Draco Malfoy, a boy hardened by his family's expectations, caught in a war he never chose, and haunted by the impossible tasks placed upon him by Voldemort. As he teeters on the brink of despair, his icy exterior seems impenetrable-until Thalia Ashford steps into his life. Thalia, a strikingly independent transfer from Beauxbatons, is more than just another student at Hogwarts. Behind her sharp tongue and fiery determination lies a past as complicated as Draco's, one marked by tragedy, secrecy, and an unrelenting fight for freedom. Drawn together by chance and circumstance, Draco and Thalia form a connection that neither of them expects-one built on shared pain, guarded trust, and a flicker of hope in an otherwise bleak world. As the shadow of war looms over Hogwarts, their fragile bond is tested. Thalia begins to uncover the truth behind Draco's secretive behavior: the pressure of his family's allegiance to Voldemort, the unrelenting demands of the Dark Mark on his arm, and the soul-crushing weight of a mission destined to end in bloodshed. Meanwhile, Thalia faces her own struggles as the conflict forces her to choose between standing by Draco or joining the Order in their fight against the growing darkness. This richly layered fanfiction masterfully explores the shades of gray that exist within both its characters and the world they inhabit. It's a story of forbidden love, of finding humanity in the unlikeliest of places, and of discovering the courage to defy fate. As their lives spiral into chaos, the choices they make will shape their destinies-and determine whether love can survive in a world fractured by hate.
