Thalassa Maddox was obsessed with the notion of perfect; she needed a perfect house, a perfect husband and a perfect occupation.

When she walks in on her husband with another woman, this perception of perfection disintegrates. Homeless, divorced and working for a takeout establishment, she is encouraged by a friend to accept a holiday invitation to restore her declining mental health.

It was meant to be a relaxing environment to heal a broken heart; but it leads to her stranded in the middle of the ocean alongside the stranger responsible.

Thalassa had always feared the ocean. How fitting that she would die there.

To a human, werewolves don't exist, and you're crazy if you believed in the myth. That is what Alana thought of them; a myth. That is, until she meets one. Alana Smith is your average girl. Her parents live in another state after she moved away from them to live with her brother, her brother is barley home, she has a stable job she doesn't dread waking up for and she has friends she loves who love her back. She is your typical 23 year old. To a werewolf, humans are blind creatures who are so naive they don't realise what's living around them. Werewolves despise them. That's what Michael did; until he met Alana. Michael Black, a rogue who has connections to make his life easier, had always wanted his mate, someone who he could keep for life without fear of them leaving or turning on him. Mix the two together, add jealously, possessiveness, hatred, a pack, friends, family and some other drama and you've got the story, of Alana and Michael. I WROTE THIS AGES AGO, THE GRAMMAR AND SPELLING IS HORRIBLE!!!! I use ' for talking marks, not ". I use the wrong your, you're, their, they're, there as well and many other mistakes Please don't correct me as I have passed the phase of writing 'Red' and won't go around and edit it :)
