"Of course! Just give it back after, 'kay?"

". . . M/N, if I turn around and your hand is off, I swear to -- GOD FUCKING DAMMIT. We've talked about this!! Put your hand back on!"

M/N wheezed and waved his separated arm around happily. His brother narrowed his eyes in return, muttering weak curses under his breath before pointing at the boy accusingly.

"Put it back!"

"Yeesh, I heard you the first time!"

M/N burst into a fit of giggles as he held the limb place firmly. Droplets of blood fell to the floor quickly, joining the severed tissue together as they flowed from the wound.

"Now you're gonna have to wait for your hand to heal again, moron! This is the sixth time you've done it this month!"

"But it's worth seeing that face you make every single time!"

". . ."

"Yeah, that one! Exactly!"

A child is born with the ability to heal superhumanly fast. His body is nothing more than a canvas for healed scars and bruised flesh. Permanent marks of every single time he should've fallen to his grave.

But, if you were to ask him, he'd simply smile and tell you that it's nothing to worry about. Each one was probably an accident! He probably did something to earn them. He probably did something wrong. He probably just waited too long.

And all anyone could do was smile back. Because his smile was one of pure light -- and it was curious to see how so much darkness hadn't crushed it yet.
