Living and working at a library behind Wall Sina has its perks, and although Y/N is grateful for what he has, he isn't satisfied with standing by any longer. The heroes never stood idly by during battle, so why should he? The heroes fought for what was right, so why shouldn't he?

One night, he sneaks out to join the cadets; perhaps they'll be his first step to becoming a true hero. It's a shame not everyone shares his sentiment, especially not his fellow cadet: Hitch Dreyse.

Some heroes in the old tales were insulted, mocked, and ridiculed for their actions, but it never stopped them; why should it stop him?

[My opinions on Reader fanfics are mixed, but I want to try something different than "Alva Gaming reacts to ships." Bombs away.]

A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world. The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
