Todoroki has always loved the snow, it reminded him of his mother's cool hand cooling down his bruises that burned from his father's heated fists, so when his mother left, Todoroki missed that coolness, so when he was finally able to talk his father into letting him 'practice' up in the snow for the days his father wasn't home but on missions, he was filled with glee when his father finally agreed after months of begging, only due to a week-long mission came up, of course, Todoroki still had very little freedom, being monitored constantly by one of his father's underlings. Todoroki is a person in his third year, barely hanging alive. He became his old self again, shutting him self out, keeping his emotions inside. That's happened ever since he found out one of his own blood line wanted to kill him. He couldn't even process it so instead he shut himself out. He just needs to pass his last year, that's all. Sure he has gotten a bit closer to his classmates but he still keeps his distance. Him and Bakugo are still rivals and sometimes bicker with each other. But a lot of them have changed over the years. For the good or the worse. Todoroki would sometimes have panic attacks or he would get random flashbacks of his childhood during class. But not once has that made him cry. Matter of fact no one has noticed this except one person. And that person has kept quite until one day he had enough. Bakugo and Todoroki height difference are switch b/c I need a slightly shorter Shoto in my life. Also Todoroki knows how to do sign language since he doesn't like to use his voice a lot and when he does it sometimes comes out raspy. Update: it gets cringy before it kinda gets better.
