While Vera was forced to be perfect, Jocelyn was neglected. Then, one fateful day, they met. Jocelyn was crying under a tree, and Vera held her hand out to her. They became best friends very quickly. After all, they only had each other. Then, one day when Jocelyn was walking around the small town. She saw Vera being burned by her mothers' fire magic. The next day, they found out how they were both abused at home, and then they decided to run away when they got their grimoires'.
