His mother's mouth was moving, but he couldn't hear shit. He leaned back, angry at himself, angry at the world. Why was he born like this? He was crazy, that's how he always had been. Everyone knew it, that's why his dad left, why his sister was holding onto him like he was still a little boy. He wasn't, he was grown up, he was okay.

Why did they think something was wrong with him?

Skeppy was living a shitty life, he had just left a rehab full of religious assholes. An overdose almost took his shitty life away from him, not like he really minded of course. He didn't like himself, or his life. The only good thing about it was the drugs, and the smokes and the highs that he felt with every puff he let out.

He craved that high. He knew he did.
Of course, he craved any type of high, even if that high came in the bodily form of the new boy.
