The BAU department of the FBI in Quantico needed a second unit chief and senior supervisory special agent. And, according to his boss, Harry would be a perfect fit for that position.
So that is how Harry Styles, former detective at the Chicago Police Department, ended up at the BAU office in Quantico. With a coworker who hates him from the start, a team of amazing people and a concerning amount of crimes that request their help.
On his first day Harry is immediately thrown into an investigation that needs their help. He wants to show that he's capable of handling the job, partly to show the team that he can do it and that they can count on him, but mostly to prove it to his coworker and to get him to like him.
Then he gets abducted and held hostage by a past lover and he has to trust his coworker and team to get him out alive.
