[A short story by STITIRO] Orion makes a mistake. A mistake so devastatingly bad he would risk his life to reverse it if there was a way.
After reading about the ways time can be manipulated in the world of today, Orion attempts to go on a mission to undo his actions, with full knowledge that he would be breaking the law in doing so. Orion doesn't care though, he believes his actions are already unforgiveable, and that he can never go back to how things used to be. From here on out, he'll stop at nothing to fix his problem, even if it means the death of himself.

A small group of strangers find themselves surviving in a decimated world. It's bad enough to be stranded in a no-name town, but things become surreal when you realize the vast majority of humanity has died...it becomes terrifying when you realize you aren't that lucky to be alive. "Survivor's Guilt" isn't a thing when you find yourself the sole food source for an entire group of beings that no longer need to hide in the shadows. Many years in the future after the time of exploration a teen (Conrad) looks for adventure. Trying to make up for the mistakes of his past he travels with his Uncle to the Explorers Society. On their way they get attacked by pirates. He puts his crew in an escape pod but couldn't fit in the same pod as them. Making his way to the other pod his ship jumps to a random solar system. Luckily before the ship fully breaks he makes it to the other escape pod. After the crash he makes his way to a hidden military facility. He'll now have to face the true about the "time of peace" he lives in and face the consequences of humanity playing with things they couldn't possibly understand.
