Shota Aizawa never planned on having a family. He wasn't a people-person, so living in a house with multiple other humans was never his idea of a 'home'.
That was until he stumbled upon a bundle of purple hair in a grimy ally, late on the Saturday night that would change the course of his life forever - not that he was complaining. 

But what will happen when his family is threatened by an unknown force? And what will he do when a student of his is left in need of a place to call home - a student who also happens to have a massive target on their back?

Trust for Izuku Aizawa was a fickle thing, he'd constantly be forced to switch between trusting someone with his whole heart to hating them with every fiber of his being. Such was the story of his father, his teachers, his classmates, his old friends, hell even his own mother (though he never did or ever could hate her). The only person he trusted was his sister and it stayed that way for a long, long time. It stayed that way until he was adopted by Shouta Aizawa and Hizashi Yamada, he gained a new brother and sister both of whom he loved dearly. He finally felt able to trust the people around him and it was a breath of fresh air for not only him but his sister as well. There were bumps in the road but his new family stayed together. Everyone is born with at least one black mark on their body, a mark that changes colors upon the first contact with their soulmate/s. In this sense, Deku is no different. But that is where his similarities stop. After working for the yakuza throughout his childhood, Deku is captured during a raid. He meets Present Mic and Eraserhead, who decide to take him to UA rather than send him to a juvenile detention center. Adjusting to the challenging support course and a functional home is difficult enough on it's own, and now this criminal also has to deal with two annoying soulmates. Will his first experience with unconditional love and support get him to break down his carefully constructed walls? Or will they strengthen as he tries to hold on to his old life?
