Not all smiles make a happy person. Contrary to the misinterpreted fact that not all horns and forks make the devil. Sadiya Muhammad Yusuf. Having lost a father as well as a brother at her teenage years. Many might be stricken of a thought as to eternal loss of those who were meant to be the most important males in her life. It was not the defunct of any of them. Albeit with a sick mother, scales through all obstacles the universe had to offer - aiming right at the bullseye as a gynecologist.

Right when she thought all was falling back into place, she loses her only confidante, supporter. Her only parent in the picture; dead. She never thought her life would be the same. But what happens when the person she convinced herself to loathe the most shows up after the past comes haunting her present?

Royalty screams a lot.
Power. Grace. Aristocracy. Fortitude. And most of all; Status. In the city of Yemen, comes no exception from the qualities of being Royal. When a prince by name, Zayan ibn Ahmer ibn Ayyub al-Qadim III, like a cliché, bumps into a lady shooting lasers at the man he finds her in the arms of.

Nigeria had always been among his favorites, perhaps even more when all that shouldn't be said, was felt. Especially when he sets his eyes on her. Not the ideal incident, but enough to have his soul intertwined with her heart.

Previously known as: I'll never forgive you Maryam Junaid, a pious, confident young Muslimah who lost her parents in a fire at the age of ten. As the little girl wandered the dangerous streets of New York, she was kidnapped and somehow ended up in the foster home of the Mehmoods. At the young age of 12, she had already gone through a lot. Abuse, harassment, humiliation, you name it. Life was tough but things took a turn for the better when the sweet Saleh couple stumbled upon her. Liking Maryam's sensibility and piety, they ask for her hand in marriage for their only son; Abdullah Saleh. Knowing that it was the only way out of her misery, she gladly accepted and despite her foster family's disapproval, started her life as the Saleh family's daughter-in-law and the wife of Abdullah Saleh, a stranger. Abdullah Saleh, the famous workaholic, charming, young CEO of Saleh textiles. His intense gaze, raven straight hair, and pale creamish skin weren't one to go unnoticed. Partying, girlfriend and work were his main goals in life and nothing could change that. He was pretty content until a little girl who liked to act snobby and confident, forcefully entered his life. To say that he was annoyed would be an understatement. They say polars attract but this couple just didn't click. The bond of marriage between the two, binding them together created a big clash. And one thing was for sure, it wasn't pretty. __________________________________ Note: The credit for the images used in the cover goes to however made them. "Listen to me Qurratul Ayn, before you go, I want to know; did I ever offend you? Is my love for you too little?" I can feel his hand hovering over mine. He wants to hold it, but he knows better than to do that. "Please, I don't want to do this now. My flight is in thirty minutes." I can feel the tears wetting my Niqab. "No! I want to know. Where did I go wrong? Was it money? I didn't feed you well? I didn't clothe you? My love wasn't enough for you? I need to know, all those years! You're seriously willing to throw them away like they were nothing?" A sob breaks out but I manage to hide it behind a cough. I take a silent deep breath and turn, my Niqab swaying and making a whip sound. "It's not like, they really were nothing! Look, I don't have it in me to explain myself. You said you'd give me whatever I want? Then leave me be. I never loved you okay! I never did, it was all a sham, a facade!" His hand that was looming over mine falls limp beside him and he staggers back. "You're lying." He laughs. It's as if he's trying to convince himself. I scoff. "You think so? Well take a look at this." His eyes fill with tears and he takes one of his hands and place it on his mouth. He can't believe that it's actually true. "Okay, Fa'iza." My heart breaks. He never calls me that, ever. "I know something is wrong, and wallahi I'm going to find it out and bring you back to my house in six months. I promise." I feel my heart squeeze knowing his promise can never come to pass, ever. Death is nearing me so nothing can be done.
