• His African Angel & Her Brown-Eyed Stranger •

___

Not all smiles make a happy person. Contrary to the misinterpreted fact that not all horns and forks make the devil. Sadiya Muhammad Yusuf. Having lost a father as well as a brother at her teenage years. Many might be striken of a thought as to eternal loss of those whom were meant to be the most important males in her life. It was not the defunct of any of them. Albeit with a sick mother, scales through all obstacles the universe had to offer - aiming right at the bullseye as a gynecologist.

Right when she thought all was falling back into place, she loses her only confidante, supporter. Her only parent in the picture; dead. She never thought her life would be the same. But what happens when the person she convinced herself to loathe the most shows up after the past comes haunting her present?

•••

Royalty screams a lot.
Power. Grace. Aristocracy. Fortitude. And most of all; Status. In the city of Yemen, comes no exception from the qualities of being Royal. When a prince by name, Zayan ibn Ahmer ibn Ayyub al-Qadim III, like a cliché, bumps into a lady shooting lasers at the man he finds her in the arms of.

Nigeria had always been among his favorites, perhaps even more when all that shouldn't be said, was felt. Especially after he sets his eyes on her. Not all angels had wings, and not all Africans must be bound to their continent. Maybe physically and ethnically, but surely not by heart too.

You might wonder what happens next, long story short, having a mix of the two is worth every patience.

Muhammad thought of Madeenah as a child, younger than his baby sister, although way more mature. She seemed to have created a bond with his daughter and that was all that came to his mind about her. Not her smooth caramel skin, or her captivating light brown eyes and neither did her sweet voice do it for him. Madeenah thought of Ya Muhammad as an arrogant and stoic person but a really good father. In truth she was terrified of him. She hated the way he would look at her, as though she was less important than him. She hated the way he never spoke unless he needed to. She hated the way his voice washed over her, making her shiver. She hated his height and how it made him tower over her small frame. She hated him but she just couldn't stop thinking about him. So what happens when the two end up being brought together by an unusual arrangement . He's older, she's younger. He has a daughter and she has barely begun life. Will he let go of the past and try to find happiness or will he drag her down with him? --------------------------------------- "Let's get married." He says with such a straight face that I feel stupid as I chuckle. "What did you just say?" I ask in disbelief. "You heard me Madeenah." He says in a gravelly tone. "Why would you want to marry me?" I shake my head. "You don't like me." "I like you well enough to be married to you." His broad shoulders shrug in his familiar black suit. What is going on with him? And what have I gotten myself into?

Poor Ruwaida Mahmoud had to get married to her friend's brother, Turaad, a rich sophisticated Doctor not knowing she had signed a contract to save her life! _______________________________ Her eyes tinged with tears the moment she raised her head to look at him. All the while he spent talking to her, she had her head down, staring endlessly at her hands. His words filled with a sincerity which he had shown broke her to pieces. The most she could do was smile at him. Even if she wanted to, her words wouldn't be able to make sense. She had so much to say, so much to let out, but then, her vocals refused to let her. He held both her hands and smiled back, his other hand on the small hospital bed she had laid. "You scared me Waida, I almost passed out seeing you being trolled back into the ICU you know," He said, and laughed, ducking his head low, as the way he had acted replayed in his memory. She also chortled silently, not minding the tears that refused to stop, moments like this, always left her emotional. "I did? But I'm fine now ain't I," she asked and he placed a hand on his forehead, his overdramatic wife mode had just been turned on. "Yes you're, but please don't ever do that again," he said with a stern face. "Promise me," With an absentminded look in her eyes, she nodded and gave a quick reply. "Yes Muhammad, I promise," Love_ Silentwriter ☕️
