Superpowers are real. Stunned by Cameron Drexler's revelation, the world chooses sides. Some seek to profit from this groundbreaking discovery, while others want to bury the knowledge forever.
Closer to home, Cam's father, Congressman David Drexler, embraces it-making his son the face of his bid for the presidency and making deals that will ultimately fill his own pockets.
But one former Maplethorn cadet views these abilities as gifts to be shared with everyone, not just those at the top. As his classmates gather to mourn one of their own, Keegan Kinsler unleashes a plan that could change everything.

Alexia Lambre, Teenage Telekinetic: The School
Alexia Lambre had never been a truly 'normal' girl, because she had always had the added 'bonus' of telekinesis. At least, some might call it a bonus. Alexia would call it a curse, because throughout her entire life she worried about someone finding out about it and taking her away. Someone did find out about it, but not the government like she assumed would happen. She was soon offered a place at what was called 'The School,' a place for people like her to learn about their powers. When she arrived though, she learned otherwise. She makes friends with the other kids, and they all join up against the scientists at the school, those that like to do tests and even experiments on them. Will the group ever escape the school? Or will the appearance of a new teen and 'experiment C' do them in?Complete
Efferent
In the process of revamping this profile and this novel... thanks for your patience! (Estimated time of arrival: 12/01/19) "What are we?" I muttered in awe. "Efferent." He cocked his head slightly to the side. "Although, I do not believe that anyone is truly like you, Ardyn Danvers. You are something different altogether. You are something far more superior." ********** In a society dictated by intellectual prowess and where your status is determined by your level of brain function, Ardyn Danvers finds herself on her knees with a historically low percentage. With few choices left to make, and a dim future ahead of her, Ardyn is resigned to joining the rest of the bottom feeders in the gutter. But when an esoteric clinic of scientists develop a serum meant to increase tested brain function, they threaten to turn the nation's establishment on its head and heighten government control. Intending to level the division between the high percentages and the low, they had expected to use the serum to bridge the gap between the undesirables at the foot of the hierarchy to the elite standing at the pinnacle. What they did not expect, however, were the side effects. ********** © 2017 AaPThomps all rights reserved. COMPLETED FIRST DRAFT. Cover by @-wanderesComplete

The Archetypes
Comic books were one thing, but reality wasn't quite so romantic. If you had powers, you hid them, and you prayed no one ever found out. I didn't know why until they got me. The Academy was what they called it. The whole place reeked of deceit and suffering. They hurt us. They used us. They left us broken. We have to get out, before it's too late.Complete
The Powers We Have
WARNING: this story includes death ~~•~~ What superpower would you want? Invisibility? Flight? Shape shifting? There are countless powers! Countless possibilities!!! And my power, is to talk to gnomes. ...no not the little garden things. Gnomes are the creatures that are your conscious. Kinda like the old cartoon devil and angel. Everyone has a gnome, and each gnome has their own personality. Gnomes are invisible to everyone except for people who have the power to talk to them. I have a gnome and their name is Kade. Kade is very mischievous and we get along well. But...my power isn't anything special. I can just see little creatures, what good is that?! And now my parents have decided to sent me to a school to strengthen my 'power'. I've been homeschooled my entire life and have been saved from the embarrassment of sharing my power. I already know my power sucks! I don't need a school to tell me that. But now I'm here. Just me and Kade, Against the world. ~~•~~ This story is about a hero who is very kind and outgoing and always looks out for everyone, A hero who never gives themself credit and is struggling to figure out who they really are, And a hero who once had happiness and love, and threw it all away. And that's Canon (Cover art is not mine, I just added the title) This work belongs to me, @Seth189. I reserve the rights to this work and please do not repost it. It takes me a long time to come up with this stuff and it would be better to write your own work!! If you see this story on any other site besides Wattpad, it is not mine.
