We were given the school year to write an original novella, and this is mine! I've grown really attached to the plot, but at my current writing skill, I don't think I could've properly gotten the point across in the time I was given. I'm publishing it here both to share it with my friends and to hopefully find proofreaders! I would really appreciate it if you could leave suggestions in the comments as they occur, or dm me for longer explanations! THE FORGOTTEN GROVE
Two Childhood friends, Hafsa and Eamon, reunite for their weekly exploratory in their hometown. Deciding to widen their options they set out to the outskirts of town, for an area known as 'THE FORGOTTEN GROVE' • • Legends have it that 'THE FORGOTTEN GROVE', as Gentil as it may look from the outside, has a history of mysterious disappearances going on, on the inside. It is said that people's souls are trapped in there by spirits wandering the Grove, until eventually, they become wandering spirits as well. Hafsa and Eamon decide to defy the tales as they set to uncover the true secrets of the Grove. But what happens when they discover that some secrets are best left unspoiled? • • This is an Original short story by Haytham Maiyh (Me) Note: This is not your normal Ghost stories 👻.
