The town of Crystal Lake, Colorado is a snowy paradise known for it's beautiful scenery, warm and friendly community and love for extreme sports; namely snowboarding. Every year a competition is hosted to find the best boarders around in one of the biggest and most popular events known state-wide.

Abigail Monroe is your typical pretty, popular girl with more money than she knows what to do with. With her father being the town mayor, she's used to getting what she wants with little to no argument. Fashion, parties and her boyfriend Nate - star of the town's snowboarding team, the Crystal Tigers - are all that matter to her.

Her polar opposite, Jacob Finch, is a famed snowboarder turned assistant at his mom's animal sanctuary. He's perfectly content just hanging out with his friends and helping take care of the animals... or at least, that's what he tells people.

To Jake, Abi is nothing more than daddy's little princess, and to her, he's just a loner who went from the top of his game to nothing. But there's a whole lot more to each of them that's still yet to be discovered...
