In Crimson Peak you have heard the story of how Edith Cushing fell in love with Sir Thomas Sharpe and fell into his and Thomas's sister Lucille's death trap and how she escaped it and survived. Well during the time when Edith was still together with Thomas during her little exploring adventure she found evidence of Thomas being married with a lot of other women in the past before, she didn't find much information. She only found out that Thomas was with other women before and killed those women and also found evidence of a little baby.

Elizabeth Sharpe.

The daughter of Thomas that they never found again, one of the women that Thomas was engaged with had a child but was dead together with the mother while the baby wasn't even born yet. But apparently with another one of the women that Thomas was engaged with was also got pregnant this time being born and healthy. Elizabeth was also announced as a dead person to the Sharpe family and to Edith but Thomas was the only person who knew that his child was still alive.

In this book you will not be reading the side of Edith's story but of the young lady Elizabeth and how she survived and where she is currently living.
