This is a Pregame AU were Shuichi is a yandere for Kokichi, Kokichi is shy and gets bullied, Kaito and Rantaro are bullies, Kiibo is nice and friendly but is not popular, Kaede is nice, mean, popular and gets a crush on Shuichi and Miu is shy ish, easy to embarrass not really popular girl that becomes friends with Shuichi. A new kid has arrived at Hope's peak Academy his name is Shuichi Saihara a crazy yandere who falls in love with a short unpopular boy named Kokichi Ouma. As he stalked his beloved around Shuichi see kokichi get pushed, punched and thrown around multiple times in a day by Kaito and Rantaro, Shuichi decides to take matters into his own hands to protect his beloved from anything that hurts him or comes in the way of him and his beloved. Shuichi -when he is a kid- lives with his parents and his uncle in Japan before they had to move to America, where he left his only childhood friend, Kokichi. Years had passed, and ever since he had moved overseas, Kokichi had made some new friends: Maki and Himiko. Their first high school year only started for them, but the murderous group that was once in America named 'The Despairs' had travelled to Japan, and was followed them was none other than the young detectives Shuichi with his non-biological sibling Tsumugi. They both enrolled in the same high school as Kokichi and his friends and things happened. Now how will this go as Shuichi and Kokichi solve things out while Shuichi's on the road to getting the Despairs to justice? And how will he do that? ーーーーーーーーーー Since this story is about 4 HOURS (I know, it's crazy), I decided to make it into a separate book because anyone (I know you're one of them) would be completely annoyed that it's a long story with only one page ;-; The previous one (with short stories and fillers): "Some DRV3 Stories," will only be for short stories and fillers ONLY, and not with long stories like this one. (First book of the trilogy) Kokichi, a kind, extroverted boy, moved out to a new city and dropped out in a new school: Spring Field Academy, he quickly made friends here and became one of the popular students, but soon after a few weeks, he notices that one of his classmates is left out from everybody else. Kokichi never saw that boy speak to anyone, neither did he hear him talk in the first place, so of course he decided to try and befriend this lonely boy. This is a non-stereotypical pregame Saiouma story where there is no stalker-ish creepy Shuichi or uwu boy Kokichi, just their ingame personalities with a few changes here and there, I hope you will like this fluff story, there may be some angst here and there or other things, but I'll just put warnings in chapters for people uncomfortable with it :D contains: angst violence smut (the smut part will be separated from other chapters so that people that don't wanna read it would be able to skip it) aaand a lil bit of hidden lore you could try finding out with some clues, I know that there will be detective readers hungry for some lore 🔍 but you still have to find what could be related to a hidden lore 🤭 I could maybe, just maybe give you some hints! enjoy the fanfic!

They discover that everyone who died in the game is alive and that fills them with hope. Sadly those who died are left talentless and their personalities are different now. It'll take a lot of work restoring their groups harmony and finding the truths of their own past. What makes things interesting is while searching for his past Shuichi comes across Kokichi. Will this fated reunion go sour or bloom into an unexpected romance only time will tell.
