The name is given to those who won't survive their first winter. Those who don't belong, those who will not be any more than a burden. Hiccup isn't an exception to this. I mean, sure he survived his first winter, and the next fifteen. But he caused problems, not on purpose. Things just happened when he was around. First when he was six, and a nearby furnace blew up when he lost his temper. Then when he was eight, nine, eleven. These strange happenings kept occurring, and nothing he did helped. Everything he did, everything he tried had some way of turning back on him. For the longest time he believe that the God's cursed him. But now, now he finds the blessings in the curse. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I really hope you enjoy this fanfic!! It focus' on Hiccup being a bit more than human. On the island of Dumais, a baby was sent across the sea as her homeland was engulfed by war. A woman, rather a mother, traveled with the baby girl. The two sailed across stormy seas before landing on an island called Berk. This island is were the baby grew and found herself with mixed feelings for the dragon beast and for a certain boy, rather the Chiefs son. Only things don't turn out the way she thought after that one night.
