This story revolves around Gajeel Redfox as the Grinch. He lives on Mount Phantom Lord located in Oak Town, the outskirts of Magnoliaville where Fairy Tail's guild live happily. Gajeel lived in Magnoliaville in his youth, but was casted aside after exposing his iron dragon slayer magic to his peers, and being abandoned by the one creature he loved, a dragon named Metalicana which made him cold and hostile towards others.


When he was old enough he left Magnoliaville to Mount Phantom Lord with his exceed partner, Pantherlily. Gajeel seeks for revenge after being humiliated by his so-called comrades. He plots to ruin Christmas for Fairy Tail by destroying their guild home and their hope, and stealing their precious gift, Lucy Heartfilia. However, a curious quirky girl named Levy McGarden (Cindy Lou Who) tries to befriend Gajeel and help him see that he too has a heart.
