I sat staring up at my small window, it was my only view of the outside world and the glorious life beyond. It felt almost cruel that I was stuck in here while everyone else was out there. But not every passing moment was bad. I never knew why, but at this time everyday people would walk past my tiny window, I would get to see all the joyous smiles on their faces as they relay their days events to one another. I sat there gazing up in awe once more dreaming of the outside life, when suddenly there was a face directly in front of mine and I stumbled back slightly in shock. I stood up quickly dusting myself off and peering up at my window. wondering, who this mysterious boy could be.....
