Mel is independent and hardworking student. She got a scholarship to University of Clarkson. Because of her own intelligence to learn some few things that is needed to be teach as a little girl like her. Mel doesn't have a family beside her, She grew up in the streets without anyone to guide her. Mel survive because of selling sampaguita, because of selling sampaguita everyday she met a street teacher then she's always present that's why she got a scholarship. Mel graduated high school with the help of herself she's a working student, after her classes she's at the restaurant standing at the cashier dealing with different kind of people everyday. But there is a time that she needs to do both studying while working. Her Boss is kind and humble and Mel is a trustworthy person so her boss doesn't even bother if Mel is studying sometimes. But one day Mel met Kai at the restaurant who is a customer and the one who will bring her to the stairs of her life. Kai is always there at her side until she achieve her goals for herself. But then after all of her hardwork she is diagnosed with a serious case. after Mel knew about that she almost lose her hope and she said "Ano pang silbi ng mga paghihirap ko kung kukunin naman agad ako ni Lord." That was 7 years before he knew about the... Before that She and Kai get married then she gave birth to their first baby boy "Isobia" after 2 years she gave birth to their second baby "Kalia" She only have 4 years left to spend quality time with her Husband, Son and Daughter.
