Jayda is the only hearing member of a deaf family. At 17, she works mornings before school to help her parents and brother keep their fishing business afloat. One day, Jayda and her family are forced to shift houses due to financial problems. But in joining her high school, she finds herself drawn to both the popular guy, Gabriel and the Burkly United Scholarship Program. He finds out that the new girl has feelings for him. Gabriel,  however, does not feel the spark.  From that day forward, he tries hard to keep brash and unpredictable Jayda at bay. Gabriel couldn't take it anymore so he decided to make up rumours about Jayda and her deaf family. When the rumour reached her ear, she begins to feel that she was wrong about him being the love of her life. Unfortunately, that is just about the time that Gabriel begins to think he was wrong about Jayda, too.All Rights Reserved
