Erika Cooper and Rafe Cameron were polar opposites. If she was water, he was fire. If she was the sun, he was the moon. On paper, nothing about them made sense. But that's the thing about falling in love. Most times, it didn't make any sense. 

This was never going to be a conventional love story. They'd known that from the start. It was made up of dog-eared pages, torn out chapters, missing words, and stolen letters. Not exactly fairytale material. But it was their story, and there was something oddly poetic about that. Two souls so tangled up in one another that they could never not care.
