An Old story I found on fanfiction net written during 2008-2009.

This story belong to: cutecrazyice.

description:

"Forehead, he's been back for two years-two freaking years, and you still haven't done anything. Not a single thing. If I didn't have my Shikamaru already, I would be on him in a minute. Why aren't you doing anything?"

There was a hiccup, as the blond-haired, blue-eyed, sexy kunoichi took another gulp of her sake, and turned to her long-time best friend (and yes, one-time rival). She eyed the girl beside her critically.

"Oh, my Kami...are you still in love with him?"

The pink-haired, green eyed, slender kunoichi (she wasn't as sexy as the other, but she had subtle curves, nevertheless) looked alarmed at the statement, giving out a hiccup in turn. She shook her head emphatically.

"No-of course not!"

"Then prove it!" the blond yelled, challenge vibrating in her drunken voice. "Prove it to me in nine days!"

"I will!"

"Okay, then-make out with him! Make him want you! Need you-even love you!"

"How the hell does that prove that I'm not in love with him, Pig?"

Silence. Then...

"Because you will have to leave him in the end."

𝑁𝑎𝑟𝑢𝑡𝑜 𝑥 𝐻𝑖𝑛𝑎𝑡𝑎 ❝𝗜 𝘄𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝗴𝗼―𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿❞ 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗿𝗲: Modern Fanfiction 𝗔𝗯𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁: Dwindling amidst the glimpse of the memories they share, how can we stay in love throughout the years? Is it because we are afraid to break the loop? Is it because we were familiar with each other's touch? Is it because we drowned ourselves in the name of love? Or perhaps, we despise seeing one another beaming in the arms of the strangers we refuse to know? Perhaps it's the memories that keep us bounded. It makes us refined. It makes us selfish. It's because we love, strive, and made us kill the rational part of ourselves because we are in love. "I love you, Hina." He murmurs while moving his body from slow to brisk that he almost lost his mind. His tears, the realizations, and his love for her failed to vanish. It never dies and will never not even once. He is her soldier, slave, her lover. He is willing to try more. He is willing to shame his ego. For her, he is willing. And the fear? He bravely let it go. Once more, he came back for her. He came to her-his only home. Yes, he is scared but at least he knew he took the risk to love her again. He knew deep within, Hinata is the only one his heart yearns for so long. And now, he is finally home. In her arms, in her warmth, in her spell. He is forever hers. 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: January 21, 2021 𝗘𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱: June 18, 2022 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝘂𝘀: Completed ☁

Three years have passed since the end of the Fourth Great Shinobi War, but for Ayuka Yuna, it still felt like only yesterday. Nightmares and gruesome memories of the battlefield haunted her mind on a daily basis, forever reminding her of the corpses littering the ground. Over time the incessant thoughts and images were too much, and she became desperate to escape them... by any means necessary. Suigetsu Hozuki had grown closer to Ayuka throughout the war, becoming one of the only people that she felt she could trust. He cared for her, probably more deeply than either of them realized, and he knew that keeping her alert and distracted was the only way she would overcome her own mind. So, after bidding farewell to their former comrades, the duo began traveling in search of the legendary blades of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen as a way of coping. Sasuke Uchiha was revered as a hero across the shinobi world. His name could be heard in whispers and conversations across every village, causing Ayuka to cringe every time it graced her ears. Hearing his name now was only a painful reminder of his abandonment, although she hoped it would not remain that way for long... **This story is incomplete, but I will not be continuing it. Please continue to enjoy it as it was originally written. Thank you all for your kind support and please read my Conversation Posts on my page for more details.** { Sequel to Resistance } { Naruto Fanfiction // Sasuke x OC } { Set a year after 'The Last' plot }

"Naruto!" Sasuke gasped. "Have you seen Sakura?" "That's..." Kakashi cut Naruto off with his hand, waving him down. "That's actually why we came here... actually." Kakashi said. "Until further notice; your mission that you were to go on is not happening." Sasuke just looked at Kakashi, he wasn't known for stopping a mission unless something terrible was happening. "What happened to my Fiance..." Sasuke murmured. He wanted to inch his hand to his sword. He wanted something physical to attack. His anger was smothered in fear. "What would you think Karin would want with Sakura...?" Kakashi murmured. Kairn? What did she have to do with any of this. "I... I honestly wouldn't know... I don't keep up with them anymore. Why?" "Because Sakura was reported to be knocked out in a red headed girls arms just this morning, they tried to catch up to her, but failed." Kakashi murmured, Naruto grabbed Sasuke's arms and pinned them to his sides. Everyone knew Sasuke was about to act irrationally. Sasuke was wordless, he didn't know what to do. His mind raced. They couldn't catch up to Karin? They couldn't save her? He knew there was something they weren't telling him. "What the fuck.... you told me she was safe in this damn village!" Sasuke yelled. He pulled against Naruto, trying to free himself. "You told me to trust you damn it!" "Naruto..." Kakashi murmured. "I'm sorry Sasuke..." He mumbled from behind him. The last thing Sasuke remembered was Naruto hitting the back of his neck. So I guess this is how Sakura felt... ------- Uchiha Burden is a spin off from Chidori Heart. Sakura cant stand all of the relationships that are happening while Sasuke is gone, but when Sasuke comes home, it triggers more events then any of them ever expected. You wouldnt think an Uchiha would be such a burden

"Hey, Naruto?" "What, babe?" I asked softly, tilting my head up to gaze into the onyx eyes of my lover. "Promise me that you'll never leave me. Swear to me, Naruto Uzumaki, that you'll always be by my side, through every little thing. Assure me that I'll never have to know another day without you." I frown slightly, my usual casual smirk still intact but a bit distorted by the furrowing of my brows. I stare down at Sasuke, confused by his out-of-the-blue demand and the worried look clouding his normally cool obsidian eyes. He inhales deeply and continues. "Even if it's a lie, I'll believe it, just tell me that you'll never let me go." I feel tears well up in my dull cerulean eyes and bite my lip to keep them from spilling onto my cheeks. All I can do is nod and stutter, "O-Of course, I-" His lips crash into mine, and suddenly hot, wet tears are rolling down both of our faces. I smile into the kiss, and the shared fear of losing each other slowly dissipates, replaced by raw passion. A few minutes pass, and Sasuke breaks off the kiss, though reluctantly. I sniff and wipe my eyes. "I love you so much," I whisper, reaching up to tuck a strand of raven hair behind his ear. He beams at me, his charcoal eyes glistening in the sheer moonlight. "I love you too." ----------------------- Disclaimer; I don't own Naruto, obviously. Hard Yaoi, be-(lieve it!)ware. Many triggers. Sad, sort of twisted ending. Don't like, don't read. Lemons. Again, don't like, don't read. Also, just so you know; the book sucks at first, because I was a lil' noob when I started out writing it, but please keep reading, as I can promise you it gets much better. All twenty chapters from Naruto's POV :-) No Sasuke POV. I was going to do one, but decided not to. One very short epilogue chapter at the end from the narrator's POV.

"That person lit the fire in my heart once more. I stepped onto a new path. A path leading from the past to the future." - Sasuke Shinden. Astrea took a deep breath and faced Team Taka with quiet determination in her eyes. "I'm lacking in terms of powers and strength. I need someone to protect me in battle. That's true. I'm not accustomed to the life of Shinobi, which builds mental resilience and physical endurance. I'm a relatively normal person." Sasuke, sensing her distress, was torn between showing his support and respecting the gravity of the moment. He wanted to link their fingers together, to provide her comfort and strength, but he hesitated, unsure if it would be appropriate in front of others. A/N: The theme of this anecdote is about exploration and discoveries. I may interpret Sasuke's actions and response in my view, but criticisms are openly welcomed for improvement. Hence, I want to be creative and try to share certain possibilities of Sasuke discovering a new world outside of Shinobi Land. Enjoy!!
