"It's a fairy tale curse Casey," he told me. "A fairy tale curse. A fairy tale cure."
"I still don't understand," I whined like a child. He gave me that beautiful half smile of his.
"It's very simple," he teased. The sun was fading...
"Just spit it out then," I shot back. It was almost gone... so close to gone... he leaned close, so close I could feel his breath on my ear... It tickled a bit.

"Just one kiss to break the spell."

**************

Casey Williams has always sort of believed in magic, but not for the childish reasons most people do. At 13 her brother and father were murdered by someone she was half sure she imagined... a monster. The whites of his eyes were black and the pupils snow white. The color was a hypnotizing golden, almost impossible to run from... but she did.
Now three years later she faces the same monster... only it isn't exactly how she planned their reunion. And she NEVER intended on falling in love with him.

Over time, they formed a secret network of covens, each comprising a small group of survivors who shared their experiences and knowledge. As the years passed, the descendants of these Salem witches continued to live in fear, each year as a witch or wizard came to age they were sent away with a mentor and hidden from the hunters as they honed their abilities. That was, until fate created the Divasio children, each born with the unique ability to connect, soon created uproar and panic as their abilities came to be in unison causing each child to be placed with a mentor and sent to different parts of the world, hoping to keep them hidden from prying eyes. However, fate has a way of disrupting even the best-laid plans. When three of the Divasio children's mentors are brutally murdered, they are forced to flee and hide once again. The trio, comprising Catelaya, Treble and Alessia find themselves in a small town in Tennessee, far removed from their original homes. Despite their initial skepticism, the three become fast friends with Jake and Emily, who help them navigate the intricacies of small-town life. As they settle into their new surroundings, the Divasio children must learn to control their powers and keep their true identities hidden. But with the witch hunters closing in, they know that they can't stay in one place for too long. Will they be able to find a way to master their magic and evade their pursuers, or will their presence in this small town be discovered and bring about a devastating reckoning?

"The realization and truth of my life confused me. My stepmother was actually my father. The man I knew as my father was really a stranger. I was half-demon and half-witch with the magic of both and primed to be the ruler of the magical world." When the always pristine perfect princess Karissa Parker is given a strange little book, she discovers that she is the descendent of a powerful demon-hunting witch and the book contains the magic of her ancestors. Before she even knows how to use it, a creature steals it from her. She and her protector, Ricardo Ortega, must get the book back if she is ever to inherit her mother's family magic. There's just one thing that bothers them. She's always had magic powers. Witches don't inherit their family magic at birth, but demons do. In a world where magic is real and the forces of good hunt the forces of evil, it's possible for hybrids to exist, those who must fight an internal struggle on which side to choose. Kari could no longer ignore the fact that magic and demonic creatures were real. After all, seeing is believing and she saw more in those first few days than she ever thought possible.
