Society sees what it wants to see. If someone has a beautiful body, they would just think, "Hm, maybe they work out," or they'll assume that person Is on some sort of special diet. Society would admire it, greatly. 

But what if society is wrong? What if what they see isn't what they really see? Well, that's the case for Killua Zoldyck. 

According to his family, he has to be perfect. He has to have those toned abs, that perfect face, that perfect body, that perfect girlfriend. The perfect everything. 

But, though those were qualities he possessed on the outside, what about what was happening on the inside? He didn't have the perfect life everyone though he had. 

But again, society sees what it wants to see.
