What Ever Happened To Newt? ||The Maze Runner
"Please Tommy please." He rolled onto his side and played dead, watching the van drive away until he couldn't see it anymore. With a loud grunt, he sat up and came face to face with the person Thomas shot instead of him. "The kid is still alive!" (A/N: If you haven't read up to the Death Cure, I suggest maybe reading the book first, but I try my best to explain the situations and setting)Complete
IT STARTED WITH A MAZE - Newt x Reader (F)
EEEK BRING BACK THIS DYSTOPIAN ERA PLEASEEEE Note: these books (James Dashner) are absolutely incredible gruesome creations full of action and intensity and I would recommend them to all... ...but this is gonna be based on the MOVIE TRILOGY since it's a bit easier to follow :) so here's The Maze Runner through till the end of the Death Cure Anyways, what's happening : ~ (Y/n) wakes up in a Maze with no memories - only her name. No past. No answers. Just the cold truth that she's trapped with a group of boys who have no idea why they're there, either. The Glade is their makeshift sanctuary: walls of routine inside walls of stone. But nothing stays safe for long. Not when (Y/n) is the first girl to ever arrive. Not when their world starts to change. Not when the nightmares waiting in the dark start hunting during the day. Every rule starts to break. Every answer leads to more questions. And just when escape feels like the only option - freedom becomes the most dangerous lie of all. What these Gladers don't understand is that beyond the Maze lies a scorched wasteland, cities in ruins, and a world poisoned by its own survival. The real test is only beginning. Loyalties will be shattered. Blood will be spilled. And the truth behind WICKED is more twisted than anything they've faced before. She thought the Maze was hell. But what waits outside could burn everything to the ground. And in a world designed to break them, not every bond will make it. Who will survive the Maze? The Scorch? The Cure? And what will be left of them when it's over? ~ TEEHEE <3 Completed: July 2025Complete
Ghost of You | safe haven newtmas
Losing Newt was too much for Thomas to bear, but what if he doesn't have to let go quite yet? - "I just keep seeing your face looking down at me and-" Thomas stops himself. "No. No, no, you're here." "I am," Newt says, getting serious. "You're okay." "And I thought your letter was the last pep talk," Thomas lets out a small laugh. "I should have known they'd never stop." "It's your fault for being such a bloody mess all the time," Newt jokes. - Takes place after the events of The Death Cure movie.Complete

They finally got to the safe haven. Fortunately, Newt survived and Teresa survived. Thomas starts acting stranger and more distant every day. He gets some memories back from before the maze and remembers about the supernatural. It's even scarier - what he's going through - because he recognizes everything that happens. There's a voice, whispered riddles. Whispers by the same, old, rusty voice. Thomas doesn't tell anyone. He tried to, but something stopped him from talking. The nogitsune is in control again. And he will make everyone suffer for it. Trigger warning!!! Read with caution: this contains (mentions of) suicide, suicidal thoughts, a lot of angst, death, character death, scars, (mentions of) self-injuring... Never Leave - Newtmas
So, I watched The Maze Runner: The Death Cure last week - and I am so not okay with that ending! Newt should have survived! So I've taken matters into my own hands and re-wrote the ending. With Newtmas being eventually canon of course! or Where everything's the same except that Brenda, Minho and Gally arrive a minute earlier to save Newt's life and even make it out of the city with the perfect cure made from Thomas' blood. Oh and don't worry if you find the same story on ao3. I've posted it there, too.Complete
The Blond Haired Boy with a Limp (NEWT X READER)
Everything was dark... probably because my eyes were closed. All around me I heard the rattle of chains, wait am I moving? I slowly open my eyes and look around. I see kids just like me chained to chairs. What happened? Why am I here? My head throbs as I try to remember. Y/n wakes up on the WICKED train that Thomas, Newt, and other allies take back to their base. Some key elements are the same as death cure, but some are changed 😉 Enjoy the story :) NEWT X READER •Completed•Complete
