It has been 10 years since Maya was adopted by De Chagny family after Erik's death. Despite all the good things that such a life has to offer, she still misses the Phantom. Suddenly an opportunity arises for a trip to America, where Christine is to sing. On their way there Maya discovers a secret, which might change their entire journey...

Better read "Phantom Child" before this one, it will help you understand the events better.

The story is almost fully prewritten as I start to post this so I promise you to not leave it unfinished. Enjoy!

[COMPLETE] Y/n and Erik seize their chance at a fresh start in America. Everything seems perfect, but their past lurks in the shadows of both sprawling cities and wild frontiers. Worse yet, those back in France know everything, and their vengeance runs strong. Y/n is ready to throw everything behind in favor of a normal life, but Erik is slower to change. Who really is her husband? With each day, the dark truth glares at her more blatantly. When they find themselves outlaws in an unfamiliar country, will love alone protect them? Or will the law and their personal faults rip them apart?
