Dream has never been an emotional person. He has feelings like everyone else, but he's made a habit of bottling them up instead of facing them head on. And it's worked for him so far. But everyone knows that pushing feelings down doesn't make them go away; it just means they'll come back stronger. As Dream's repressed emotions start to resurface, he has to find a way to deal with them and figure out the emotions he suddenly seems to be feeling towards certain people in his life, without alerting his friends and fans to his unstable mental state.
