After receiving a call from Maddie, Kali heads to Summer Cove and meets nine-year-old Aidan Romero. She learns that Aiden is the sole survivor of an attack of intergalactic origins, and he is harboring a substance which is both highly desirable and wanted throughout the entire galaxy.
