Carter Anderson was diagnosed with leukemia at the young age of 7. Although he was very young Carter was a smart kid and he knew what was happening to him. His parents did EVERYTHING they could do to keep their baby boy happy and breathing. But will his parents, and family be enough to save him? Or is there a certain someone who could add to that?

Abigail Andrews was a bubbly happy go lucky 7 year old girl. Abby was a little girl that was oblivious with everything that happens around her. When one day they had to rush her mom to the hospital. She was walking around the children's section in the hospital when she found a sickly looking boy around her age. She came up to him and befriended him. Of course being in the hospital all the time Carter didn't have many friends, so he grabbed the opportunity to make one and became friends with the little girl. Will Abby be Carter's happiness? Or is she going to leave him just like everyone else?
