Conflictless Feud

This story Is set mainly in the overwatch universe. The United Nations of earth have moved into space, creating the UNSC, the United Nations Space Corps, and within that, the Spartan program began. The first successful Spartans were the Spartan 2's, the most powerful of the Spartan program. Then came Spartan 3's, augmented ODST's, which were much less powerful than the Spartan 2's but ended up being the most common form of Spartans found in battle. Then came Spartan 4's, the weakest and worst Spartans created by the UNSC, so they moved back to Spartan 3's, making them the most created Spartans by the UNSC. Spartans were sent to earth for the same reasons overwatch existed for, keeping the peace, but, to Overwatch's dismay, the Spartans were much more widely accepted. You are one of those Spartan 3's, you were sent to kings row to keep an eye on the omnic monk Mondatta's speech.
As you kept watch from the rooftops, you find an attacker, but they aren't Omnic... (The first chapter is 2nd person, but every one after that is 1st person)
