A sudden emergence of individuals with extraordinary abilities provides a convenient focus for the world's negativity. Blame, even if it is undeserved, is continually piled upon those uniquely gifted by nature. Some revere them, celebrate them as the dawning of a new age where the world bends to man's will, yet much of humanity has rejected them as outcasts, freaks.

In the midst of this, one man rises to lead his kin. A nation is formed, an effort at creating a utopia for the feared and hated, but their new-found legitimacy and sovereignty is no bulwark against the prejudice that has only heightened.

With the power of a nation founded on the basis of its people's exceptional power behind him, this man seeks to make a play for a position of power for his people.
