This is a fanfiction of The Selection by Kiera Cass, the author of the whole novella-series.
America Singer wanted to escape her tragic life as the next heiress of her war-torn and poverty-driven country, Illéa. Her parents, King Shalom Singer and Queen Magda Singer, couldn't careless for their poor country.
The two megalomaniacs plan to marry-off America to the rebellious leader of the ever-powerful New Asia (Chinese Republic), a war-freak and quite affluent country, General Maxon Schreave who has protected his and America's country against the despicable French Federation, led by the merciless yet stunning Duchess Daphne Cessairè.
However, America denied her fate of being the trophy wife of a cruel general who had slain countless innocent citizens of their own countries and their rival's.
She then secretly headed out on one fateful night with the help of her trustful lady-in-waiting, Lucy Ferilé. Only to see her die in the arms of the cruel yet obsessed general who desperately tried to violate America when he drunk too much Vodka and Gin.
She jumps out the tower where she was always trapped in, landing with a loud and excruciating thud.
She laid on the ground, completely unconscious and in great pain at the same time.
Bleeding to death, she finds a kind soul who has always admired her from afar.
His name is Aspen Leger.
A kind taylor who made most of the ballgowns America wore from her childhood up until her 18th birthday, which happened on this unforgettable yet fateful day!
